Eyyy! Its Day 1 of the marathon and I'm pumped up!!! Thanks to the kindness of , I now have Paint Tool SAI! Wooo. This was my test painting in it. I've wanted to do a piece straight in color, for quite some time now, as I always do the grayscale thing. I guess my value sense has gotten better due to it though! Wooo !
Anyways. Im going to bed. Im such an insomniac or something. Its the art high!
Enjoy~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Like 6 hours in SAI 5 mins in PSCS3 for tweaks Drawn and painted in SAI Wacom 1x1 microscopic ancient graphire tablet.
Now thats really good work. I find the art marathon intriguing and worth doing, however, the very nature of my art and the pressure of army life is sapping away time. I dont have much of my own time a day to relax after army activites, let alone do art pieces worthy of my gallery (they normally take a few days, the optimal!)
Thanks for alerting me to this though, i may give it a go next year...but seeing as how im in the army still, unlikely.
It's gorgeous! I love the colour combo. 8D Your style really seems to be evolving. Shoulders seem a bit small for her head, not sure if that was intentional.
I hear SAI is pretty awesome, I've yet to try it. D=

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
